I have finally found my white study desk lamp.
The process? Stumbled onto some Philips bulb and frantically trying each available colour in the BigW lighting section, praying after each ’screw’, finally “Cool Daylight” literally brighten up my day. just to find that bigW ran out of decent priced lamp stocks. Run to Officeworks, buy a 15 dollar cheap-looking lamp (talk about overpriced, again), go back to bigW to get try it out for the correct bulb type, there’s this screw thing or the twitch-it-in thing, pay 5 bucks (rippp offff), and, CHUG THE STUPID YELLOW HALOGEN BULB LAMP OUT OF THE WAY. did I mention yellow study lights make me depressed?
Seriously, yellow lighting isn’t even good for your eyes. The way it reflects up from your page hiding parts of the page, makes me want to rip the book off. Halogen bulbs emit killer heat (remember the time I burnt my third finger at the knuckle cuz I was stupid enough to touch it?) and there’s No such Thing as a white halogen bulb. Sheesh.
I’m pretty left behind in school work, I know I know I’m all to blame, but semester 2 just makes me feel, like uurrrggghh.
Let me give you insights on just how the uurrrggghh makes me do all sorts of unthinkable things. :)
- So i was talking to bak yesterday:

BK: well since I got class everyday I don think i can get dat soon
and the chat continued, after which I WENT TO BED AND SLEPT FOR 15 hours. and woke up naturally. just because I didn’t have the usual 10-1 lab, and the only remaining lecture was boring most-of-the-time useless Manisha’s microecons which had recordings so there wasn’t any point getting up for it was there? haha. hahaha.
I’m not gonna hide the fact that it felt good, cuz if you know be well, sleeping is like, one of the better things i have to do. :)
story doesn’t end there.
- So I woke up to the chinese herbal soup cooking for 15 hours already in the slow cooker,
the soup packed with love from mummy, switched cooker to high thinking to boil it before eating, and Then went on to eat 2 adult serve- packs of Red Rock Deli chips, honey soy and sweet chilli flavours respectively, washed down with Teh Kotak. and took my own sweet time with the soup thru Ugly Betty season 1.
haha. hahaha.
Someone please tell me I might as well not eat to begin with. What’s the stupid point cancelling off all that nutrition man. never mind, i’m going off to my honey roasted shaved leg ham slices, (97% fat free okay, as if it matters) there’s still 2 packs left. ok. i just said i want to eat again. see what i mean.
- So thinking that i could finally finish off the few ILTs and Quizzes due friday 5pm, which is tomorrow, I switched on the laptop, which proved to be a necessary but disastrous move,
spent the last few hours on facebook (go figure), and the killer idea this time was to create whole new itunes playlists cuz the previous ones were too jumbledly screwed up, and ta dah, that took me 5 hours? results, I am now the proud owner of “College Radio” (nostalgiaaa), “Grey Skies” (when are you gonna resume again grey’ss? oh wait I know that, 25th sept), “Rockstar“, “Two’s Company“, “Unforgetable” and et cetera.
then found that I didn’t import enough westlife (it’s supposed to be this secret childhood boyband thing but there’s no point denying cuz i know all of you do have one too :P ) songs and switched to ares. haha. hahaha.
I Hate the fact that I’m so easily distracted to procrastinate, and the fact that I’m getting fatter but I don’t care. even Karishma is going to the gym, and what do I do?
