anyway, since the connection is soo lousy till i seem not to be able to upload any freaking photo at all, i’ll make a non-photolable post. LA posts pending :(
today was the third day of me learning to drive. well all of you went through it, except of course the old hag waxy, so there seems to be no obligation for me to describe how lousy their cars are. =)
so my instructor is a white-haired man of no patience. well after the first day i thought he was that. so first day. i skipped the 4-hour theory part of the driving course, which pretty much teaches you when or how to use the clutch and brakes and accelerator and all, so i, do not know any of it. Hey it was my First time actually Seeing a manual car from the inside! whee me. Anyway Sien went for her 2 hour session before me, so she basically warned me how frustrated the whi(white hair-ed instructor :) would be.
The first thing i did when i got into the car was to tell the whi i’ve never ever known how to use a manual car. so he started explaining and all, which was pretty boring and vague when you’re not in the driver’s seat. I was driven to the Bahagian B tapak, includes slope three point turn side parking. oh man i can’t wait to say how ‘cheating’ they are. Anyway, when i finally got to the driver’s seat, pretty much started with the slope, no stopping, just wheeing over it, and the the three point turn. Hey, the turn wasn’t hard at All. So much for all the stories about failing the three point. Scared me. Haha.
However, i did kena mati enjin when i did my first three point. Well i didn’t know how to press or release clutch or press or release brake or press or release accelerator what. So the frustration and nagging began. However, the second time was flawless. hahahahaha. in your face.
But again. the first time stopping on the slope, i forgot but i think i released the clutch before pulling the handbrake or something. oops, dead. again, he nagged and nagged and nagged. well it’s not like i Know how to do this. Faced several problematic holding the jerk of the accelerator to push the car forward when the car is supposed to go over the slope, it went down. Laugh!. it was definitely funny. i think i slid down 3 or 4 times ba. before i got the hang of it. went on the road to go back home for a while, and hello, i think he thought i wasn’t good enough, his hand were on the steering wheel like all the time. i can’t even turn at small curbs myself! end of first day.
i told my mum the whi is ferocious. lol.
Surprisingly, the whi was “tamer” on the second day. after the second side parking, he got out, went under the shade and chatted to his fellow instructors. Probably cuz the slope and the three point were taken care of. the ever so cheating side parking, first step, look at the first stick/pole, pole sounds better. heh. when the first pole reaches your back window, reverse and look for the fourth pole on the side mirror. second step done. third step, reverse for your back tyre to go near the yellow line, fourth, reverse more for your front tyre now, to go into the line, and move forward , and walla! sure in. 100%. no doubt. can’t fight with them. that’s like the cheatiest move i’ve ever seen. but i have to use it to pass, so whatever. :P
Back to the third day, it was soooo boring already. I was to round the track continuously, first slope then side parking lastly three point, alone, and no air con. only two open windows. what the heck, i switched it on myself. Did them dont know how-many times, and i hated the steering whell cuz it was soo tight. when you’re doing a full turn you’re bound to brush your hands and by the time i got home they were red. :( more and more cars came in and it became too crowded so whi took me on the road straightaway. thank god. well his hand was Still on the wheel, but not so often. and the freaking stewpid car couldn’t go up to 60. i tried like numerous times, and the best was 55. Swwwttt. Talk about no fun.
so now here i am, complaining about manual cars. good luck waxy. don’t die, if not we don’t get to laugh at you :)
