There’s only Butterflies

So this is how it looks like. Looks new. smells new, feels new, and apparently it Looks big. Ahem Looks. Well it Is the biggest it can get and I guess the furniture layout is the best it can get so no complaints. :P

Oh but rant 1 can’t escape, The shower head sprinkles water everywhere and it’s built in and you know it’s so stiff you get water only in the shower section and you can’t get in without a shower cap if you don’t plan to wash your hair. lol pain in the neck man.

Ample kitchen space, plenty of cabinets, well, most probably the place where the gourmet chef would be born. “….”

In case anyone’s wondering, Kari’s room is next to the nearest armchair you see, which makes her door next to the bathroom door.

Rant 2 – Both beds face the direction of the doors in both rooms. Ah well, don’t think anything can be done :(

It’s like I have three cupboards but only enough clothes for one. You know what that means. *evil smirk*

Think the fengshui is blocked by the balcony wall, but it’s so much better than my home connection so no complaints here either :P

Rant 3 – No shelves or drawers wtf?

Well well, Kari’s mum says we’re spoilt and I couldn’t agree more. >.<

edit: This is College Square Swanston, just in case some anonymous person happens to google to view the conditions of this place, which was what I wanted to do before I sealed the deal. Keyword, wanted. But didn’t get anything. lol.

So I’ve been diligent in making my room a better and cozier place, here’s the result so far, to those who are interested.

So my desk isn’t that unorganized anymore, thanks to some more white magazine holders from ikea and an A4 stationery drawer from Officeworks which cost me 15bucks but to see it work nicely makes it worth it. Switched the position of the computer and extended the usb cable of the modem so now I get decent signal :P

After all that pushing and pulling the heavy bedframe, my bed no longer faces my bedroom door, now it faces the wall beside the bedroom door instead. lol. annoying built in heater makes me unable to push my bed to the wall beside the bedroom door. oh well. So now I have two bedside tables joined together instead of one at each side. And I can hang stuff on my door now. haha. big deal.

I have a mirror from ikea and a laundry bag ($5.10) and a table lamp ($25.98) now. Dollar for ringgit. Ringgit for dollar. Spotted the awkward bedhead to bed position.

And I took these photos after nightfall. Now you can see how big my wardrobe really is. And how meagre the amount of clothes i have! Typical poor malaysian student who alternates her tshirts like 4 in a week.

It’s starting to get cold everyday that I don’t want to get out from my covers ($200) . And I feel the need for another sweater to wear and tear. Damn it. All the money. :(
