Do you know, that every day’s the first, of the rest of your life?
The TMnet Speedometer thingy has ceased to work. Haha. Malaysians malaysians. Baboons! (complaint #1)
Not that I’m complaining.
Part 2 should be all credited to Xj, (psst I’ve seen an Oprah ad regarding it now I remember :P), if you’ve been lifelessly following comments :D
Apparently this thing has been around for ages, started by some Reverand in Kansas City (no surprises there), but since they have a disclaimer that : “A Complaint Free World, inc. is a non-profit, non-religious entity which provides purple bracelets and other materials to help people affect positive change in their lives.”, I guess it wouldn’t hurt! Now it’s not that I have anything against religious movements or preaching, I guess if you know me a wee bit more you’d know where the sensitivity comes from :)
Anyways, they have this, you might think, aww another “hey come let’s make you happier!” programme, which I would have thought so and subsequently close the browser, now it doesn’t look like a bad idea at all. Well you don’t really Have to buy or donate, I’m just saying the idea itself, isn’t out of the world, and could be real effective, if you’re one of the people who’d actually Listen. Yep so one of the attractions of the campaign is the bracelet.
How do I use the purple bracelet to become a Complaint Free person?
I doubt anything can be blamed for people here to not talk or not even know anything about it, after all we Are Malaysia :P (complaint #2) – I mean how many people you know here constantly watches Oprah?, and I do wonder if anyone in our beloved country will ever honestly succeed. I have to admit, I’m much more pleasant in Melbourne, come to think of it, driving could have played a role, but please, you have to agree at the very least that Malaysians do trigger some sort of switch with their inability to queue, to say please and thank you, to smile?! ha ha. We Are lagging exceeding 10 years in duration compared to cities like New York and Tokyo yadi yada, I guess our morality lags along. But hey, we have the gift of so many languages, cultures and such, nothing’s perfect yes yes, there’s only a Humongous room for improvement. :)
All in all, I doubt I’m gonna go around with a purple bracelet anytime soon, since I still have streamyx and the melbourne homeless issue at the back of my head. It’d be worth a try though, since it’s gonna take 4-6 weeks at least to arrive when you place the order, I might just try it sometime later this year. Would you?
love. :)
p.s. I think I would have forgotten all the ‘intimate details’ about London and Barcelona by the time I get back to top speed internet. Ho hum. (complaint #3!)
